SAIL Recruitment 2023 ( Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) ) notification announced for the posts of Nurses / Pharmacists for the Proficiency Training Program in 600 bedded multi-specialty DSP hospital under the M&HS department. There are 73 vacancies available for the posts. Candidates with the qualification of B.Sc/Diploma are eligible to apply. The detailed eligibility and selection process are explained below.

It is a public sector undertaking company and it was owned & operated by the Government of India. It produces iron and steel at five integrated plants and three special steel plants. It was located in the eastern and central regions of India.

Proficiency Training of Nurses (PTN):
B.Sc. (Nursing) / Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery from Govt. Recognized Institute.
Internship Certificate (if applicable).
Certificate of Registration of Nursing Council.
Proficiency Training of Pharmacists (PTP):
Degree / Diploma in Pharmacy from Govt. Recognized Institute.
Certificate of Registration of Pharmacy Council.
Disciplines:
Nurses: ICU/NICU/BICU, Medicine, Surgery, Obs & Gyn, Paediatrics, Casualty, Orthopaedics, COVID, Chest & other associated areas.
Pharmacists: Pharmacy counters &/or Medical Stores under M&HS.
Age Limit: 30 years
Age Relaxation: Relaxation in the Upper age limit by 3 years for Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) – OBC(NCL) and 5 years for SC & ST candidates.

Note:
Duration: 18 months
Daily Working Hours: 8 hrs per day in different shifts (A, B, C, G, and split G).
One day off per week.
The engagement is purely for the purpose of “Proficiency Training’ and will not entitle the trainee to stake a claim for appointment in Durgapur Steel Plant in any manner whatsoever.
The advertised number of Proficiency Trainees to be taken is tentative.
