Pre & Post Matric Scholarship To SC Students Of Assam 2019-20: Director, Welfare of SC, Assam invites Fresh/ Renewal applications for Pre-Matric (IX-X) and Post-Matric scholarships for students of Assam belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) are invited for the year 2019-20 through National Scholarship Portal (NSP) www.scholarships.gov.in.
Pre & Post Matric Scholarship To SC Students Of Assam 2019-20 Details:
1. Name of scheme: Pre-Matric Scholarship to SC students read in Class IX-X
Eligibility Criteria: Annual family income Rs 2.50 lakhs
2. Name of scheme: Post-Matric Scholarship to SC students
Eligibility Criteria: Annual family income Rs 2.50 lakhs
Verification Process:
i) For verification of applications, each Institution has filled their institute’s Nodal Office registration form and get it approved by the State Nodal Officer. If the Institute/ School/ College does not do so, they will not be able to verify the application online.
(ii) The guideline for the schemes as well as Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and User manual for Institutes are available on National Scholarship portal website www.scholarships.gov.in.
How to Apply for Pre & Post Matric Scholarship To SC Students Of Assam 2019-20:
The application will be entertained through online portal only for students studying in Govt/ Govt. aided/Govt. recognized/Madhymik/University/Higher Secondary/ Colleges including Medical’ Technical Institutions etc having valid U-DISE /AISHE/ NCVT code only.
Institution is hereby informed that timely verification of application which includes scrutiny of documents viz. Caste Certificate, Income Certificate etc is the responsibility of the institution Nodal Officer and will also be responsible/liable for any false or incorrect information. It is also the responsibility of the institution Nodal Officer to mobilize online applications of students and after verification of the applications within the dateline, submit the hard copy of the approved verified list to the office of the Director, Welfare of SC, Assam latest by 21.03.2020.
