CBSE CTET July 2020: Hello, Readers Welcome to the AssamJobs.in Official Website. Recently the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an official notification regarding the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2020 on its official website.

According to the notification released by the CBSE, the online registration process starts from tomorrow on 24th January 2020, and the last date for submitting the application is February 24, 2020. However, the application fee can be paid until February 27, 2020, until 3: 30 pm.

CBSE will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on July 5, 2020, at various examination centres spread across the country.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
    OR
  • Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
    OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
    OR
  • Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
    OR
  • “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)”
  • “(a) who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher”.

  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
    OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
    OR
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
    OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
    OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
    OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.
    OR
  • Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. The programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.

Only for Paper I or II:

  • General/OBC (NCL): Rs 1000/-
  • SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person: Rs.500/-

Both Paper I & II:

  • General/OBC (NCL): Rs 1200/-
  • SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person: Rs.600/-

  • Remittance through E-Challan by depositing the prescribed fee in CTET Exam Fee Account with Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.
  • Payment by Syndicate Bank e-Challan
  • Payment by Canara Bank e-Challan

How to Apply For CTET 2020?

Step 1: Visit the official website of CTET i.e. ctet.nic.in
Step 2: On the official homepage, click on the link which says ‘apply online’
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen
Step 4: Fill in the online application form and note down the registration number/application number
Step 5: Upload scanned images of the latest photograph and signature
Step 6: Make payment
Step 7: Download and take a print out for further reference.
